Legend of The First Encounter: A Fatasy Love Story

he's known for his fixed stare
as if she were a wall
that had hidden business there,
or somewhere near the waterfall,
and once-he wrote a poem on times square,
and painted her elegant and tall.
#
He smiled to say he can wait,
and gently asked: " are you alright?"
She lowered her head in defeat,
later he left to a far away place, she'd hate
to miss his greetings, day and night.
#
Five years had slipped away
that didn't change her fate,
He'd done great, people would say,
She assumed that he must have a date
who would stand in her way,
until he came, assuring their future with no debate.

Sonnet A To Z (Humor and Poetic Prompts)

A reads a book, while B prays to the Lord,
C dates D near a brook, who acts bored
before drinking E's hot tea, F retires, G lends a hand
on H's car rental business, I do understand,
J is sailing a boat
while K is collecting the field of oat,
L and M open a barber shop
with N and O getting married,
P lies to Q, R meets S at Ihop,
W strongly disagree
and decides to hire X, Y, and Z
before it's too late,
A reads a book to play the game of fate.

The Haunted Palace (A Feature for World Famous Poet Named Eagar Allan Poe)

in the greenest of our valleys,
By good angels tenanted,
Once a fair and stately palace,
(Radiant palace) reared its head.
In the monarch thoughts dominion
it stood there!
Never seraph spread a pinion
over fabric half so fair.
#
Banners yellow, glorious, golden,
On its roof did float and flow
(This, all this, was in the old time long ago);
And every gentle air that dallied
in that sweet day,
Along the ramparts plumed and pallid,
A winged odor went away.
#
Wanders in that happy valley.
Through two luminous window, saw
spirits moving musically,
To a lute's well-tuned law,
Round about a throne where, sitting
(Porphyrogene!)
In state his glory well befitting,
The ruler of the realm was seen.
